Very friendly staff. Had a last minute change of places when traveling to Newaygo for my step fathers memorial. The staff was very understanding and accommodating and they did not charge a fee for the last minute change. Price vs accommodations is pretty on point for the area. This place isn't fancy but it's clean with the normal microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker. It's convenient to everything in town, shopping, restaurants, attractions and is easy to get in and out of even during high traffic times. Beds were actually great, not like sleeping on a rock slab or a pile of cotton balls. I didn't give it 5 stars because the room we were in was very lacking in electrical outlets which makes it hard if you're needing to plug in more than one phone, tablet, blow dryers, curling irons, etc at a time.
Very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was clean and the bathroom was smallish. I would have left a five star but the floor was perpetually damp, which I found really weird. The management was very nice and I'd probably recommend this place to fishermen coming in for salmon season but maybe not a park avenue princess. Bring your own toiletries unless you're the type that shampoos your hair with a bar of Irish Springs.
Great rooms and service. Seems a bit pricey for the area but choices are limited.
